Vic: Warnings after blue green algae outbreak at Lake Eildon
MELBOURNE, Nov 27 AAP - Warning signs have been erected at a favourite recreation spot
in Victoria's north-east after monitoring detected high levels of the potentially toxic
blue green algae.
Goulburn-Murray Water (G-MW) has put up signs around Lake Eildon warning residents
and holiday makers not to drink the lake water.
G-MW has also warned regular users of untreated water to switch to alternative supplies
for domestic use and stock-watering purposes because boiling the algae-affected ...
