The band Brazzaville is a Los Angeles-based sextet with a worldly outlook. The group shares its name with the capital of the Republic of Congo. Their music has been described as `musty noir tropicalia,' with influences from Latin America and the Middle East. And Brazzaville's lead singer and songwriter, David Brown, says he is happiest when he is on the move.
