Vineam Domini Sabaoth

Vineam Domini Sabaoth (1705). A Constitution of Clement XI against the Jansenists. It claimed that the Pope could determine questions of fact as well as doctrine and that such decisions must be accepted ‘by the heart’ of the believer and not merely received ‘with respectful silence’.
