Nazarenes, Gospel of the

Nazarenes, Gospel of the. A Gospel in Aramaic, according to Epiphanius and Jerome used by the Nazarenes of Beroea. Epiphanius regarded it as an Aramaic version of Mt., while Jerome identified it with the ‘Gospel according to the Hebrews’.
