Minor Prophets, the

Minor Prophets, the. In the OT the authors of the twelve shorter prophetic Books, as contrasted with the three Major Prophets—Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel. They are Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi.
