Laberthonnière, Lucien

Laberthonnière, Lucien (1860–1932), RC Modernist theologian. He developed a pragmatic view of religious truth, called moral dogmatism, which he expounded in Essais de philosophie religieuse (1903) and Le Réalisme chrétien et l'idéalisme grec (1904); both were put on the Index.
