Arches Court of Canterbury

Arches Court of Canterbury. The Court of the province of Canterbury which formerly met in Bow Church (‘ S. Maria de Arcibus’). It now has no original jurisdiction but hears appeals from the diocesan Consistory Courts within the province in cases not involving doctrine, ritual, or ceremonial.
