Bible. God is goodness, so what is good is defined in terms of God (Mark 10: 18). God's goodness is shown in the
glory of
creation and the
blessings of nature. His commandments too are good and obedience to them good. Loving our neighbours is good (Gal. 6: 9 ff.) and acts of
charity are good (Acts 2: 44 f.) because they proceed from the
love of God (1 John 5: 2).
