Antonia, tower of The name of the barracks (NRSV, REB), a fortress (NJB), or palace (AV), where Paul was arrested after the riot in Jerusalem (Acts 21: 27–36). It was built near the Temple of Herod the Great and named after his friend Mark Antony.
