quantum gravitation

quantum gravitation A theory in which gravitational interactions between bodies are described by the exchange of hypothetical elementary particles called gravitons. The graviton is the quantum of the gravitational field. Gravitons have not been observed, but are presumed to exist by analogy with photons of light.
