Perseus Cluster A cluster of galaxies about 250 million l.y. away, covering 4° of sky in the constellation Perseus; also known as Abell 426. At its centre lies the supergiant elliptical galaxy NGC 1275, also known as the radio source Perseus A. The Perseus Cluster is dominated by elliptical galaxies.
