A = companion of the Andromeda Galaxy; M = companion of the Milky Way. There are several additional faint dwarfs, most of them companions to the Andromeda Galaxy. Based on a table by Eva K. Grebel, John S. Gallagher III, and Daniel Harbeck, Astronomical Journal, vol. 125, p. 1928 (April 2003).
