Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research

Lincoln Near-Earth Asteroid Research (LINEAR) A search programme for near-Earth asteroids and comets operated by the Lincoln Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The search uses two 1-m wide-field telescopes at Lincoln Laboratory's Experimental Test Site on the White Sands Missile Range in Socorro, New Mexico. The first telescope started operation in 1996 and was joined by the second in 1999. http://neo.jpl.nasa.gov/programs/linear.html
