CCD spectrometer

CCD spectrometer A spectrometer that uses a charge‐coupled device (CCD) to measure the energy of incident photons. CCD spectrometers can be sensitive to a wide range of wavelengths, from infrared and optical to ultraviolet and X‐rays. Each incident photon generates electrons in the CCD, the number of which is proportional to the energy of the original photon.
