albedo
Bond albedo
Bond albedo The fraction of the total light or other radiation falling on a non-luminous spherical body that is reflected from the body in all directions; also called
spherical albedo. It is calculated over all wavelengths and its value therefore depends on the spectrum of the incident radiation. The Bond albedo determines the energy balance of a body such as a planet. It is named after G. P.
Bond.
