Beta Crucis
Beta Crucis The second-brightest star in the constellation Crux, also known as Becrux or Mimosa. It is a B0.5 giant 353 l.y. away and a variable of the Beta Cephei type, ranging between magnitudes 1.2 and 1.3 with a period of 5.7 hours.
