Quaglio, family of scenic artists extending over several generations, of whom the first were the brothers Lorenzo (1730–1804), important in the history of neo-classical design, and Giuseppe (1747–1828). Of Italian origin, they worked mainly in foreign Courts, and in the late 18th century established themselves in Munich, where their sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons were connected with the Court Theatre.
