Kontarsky, Alfons (b Iserlohn, 1932). Ger. pianist, brother of Aloys Kontarsky. Held seminars at Darmstadt summer schools 1962–9. Has appeared as pf. duo with brother since 1955, giving f.ps. of works by Berio, Bussotti, Kagel, Pousseur, Stockhausen, and Zimmermann.
