tarroo ushtey

tarroo ushtey, theroo ushta [Manx, water-bull]. Malevolent bull of Manx tradition, clearly adapted from the tarbh uisge of Scottish Gaelic tradition. It lives in swamps and shallower pools, and sometimes roams the fields among the farm cattle; less malign than the cabyll-ushtey.
