Tadg mac Nuadat

Tadg mac Nuadat. Druid, son of Nuadu Necht and aspect of Nuadu Airgetlám, and father of Muirenn Muncháem, grandfather of Fionn mac Cumhaill. Tadg opposes Muirenn's marriage to Cumhall, fearing that the union will cause him to lose his ancestral seat, and so persuades Conn to set Goll mac Morna upon him and kill him. In variant texts, Fionn overcomes Tadg to occupy the Hill of Allen (Almu). Some commentators feel that Tadg is but an alias for Nuadu himself.
