Inber Scéne, Inber Scénae. Perhaps imaginary place-name in south Kerry, named for Scéne, wife of the poet Amairgin(1), sometimes identified with the mouth of the Kenmare River. Some commentators link it with the Shannon, on the testimony of early Spanish cleric Orosius (Historia, AD 417).
