Gáe Assail

Gáe Assail [spear of Assal]. Lightning spear of Lug Lámfhota, which returns to the hands of the thrower; named for a previous owner. It would bring certain death to the victim if the wielder uttered the word ibar [yew] as he cast forth. The sons of Tuirenn fetched it for Lug. One of the four treasures of the Tuatha Dé Danann.
