Friuch

Friuch [Ir., boar's thistles]. Pig-keeper of Bodb Derg at the beginning of the Táin Bó Cuailnge [Cattle Raid of Cooley], whose perpetual rivalry with Rucht, pig-keeper of Ochall Ochne, causes him to be transformed into Donn Cuailnge, the much sought-after Brown Bull of Ulster. Sometimes confused with Nár, another swineherd of Bodb Derg.
