Finnán, Saint

Finnán, Saint, Fionnán, Saint. [Ir., dim of finn, bright, fair, etc.]. Early bishop of Moville or Movilla, Co. Down, whose feast-day is 11 February; previously thought distinct from St Finnian of Moville, feast-day 10 September, but now thought identical with him. Distinguish from Fínán.
