Fergus Foga

Fergus Foga [Ir., of the spear, i.e. lightning]. Shadowy king of early Ireland, sometimes credited with the invention of the spear. According to the Lebor Gabála [Book of Invasions], he was the last member of the Ulaid to rule at Emain Macha, before he was slain by the ferocious Three Collas. T. F. O'Rahilly (1946) asserted that he was identical with Fergus mac Róich.
