Erannán

Erannán, Airennán. Youngest son of Míl Espáine in the invasion legends of early Ireland. According to the Lebor Gabála[Book of Invasions] Erannán climbed a mast to reconnoitre the landscape but fell to his death. In the Dindshenchas Donn mac Míled, Míl Espáine's eldest son, is the first to die.
