Buí

Buí, Boí, Búi. One of four wives of the Irish hero Lug Lámfhota. Under this name she has associations with the megalithic monument at Knowth, Co. Meath. She appears to be identical with the figure in Irish and Scottish Gaelic folklore known as Cailleach Bhéirre or the Hag of Beare, after the Beare peninsula in south-western Ireland.
