Training and Doctrine Command TRADOC established in July 1973 as one of the final structural changes accomplished by a major reorganization of the U.S. Army, TRADOC assumed responsibility for the command and readiness of all divisions and corps in the continental United States and the installations they occupy. The TRADOC commander develops and manages the U.S. Army's training programs, develops training doctrine, and provides training support for individual and group training in units.
