International Military Tribunal for the Far East

International Military Tribunal for the Far East the tribunal created to try the important Japanese leaders for World War II war crimes. The nations that began sitting for the trials in May 1946 were the United States, Great Britain, Australia, the Netherlands, France, the Philippines, and China. There were eleven judges and no alternates, and the trials were held in two languages.
