Electric Boat

Electric Boat a Groton, Connecticut-based company that in 1900 built the first U.S. Navy submarine, the USS Holland. It has achieved many other firsts in submarine technology since then, including the USS Nautilus, the world's first nuclear powered vessel. Electric Boat grew into General Dynamics and is today a division of it.
