Cedar Falls, Operation an offensive in January 1967 against the
Iron Triangle region of Vietnam with the goal of routing the
Vietcong base camps there. Both U.S. and
ARVN divisions totaling 30,000 troops took part. The operation uncovered large caches of arms and other equipment, with minimal U.S. and ARVN casualties.
