quantitative digital radiography

quantitative digital radiography (kwon-ti-tă-tiv dij-i-t'l) n. a method of detecting osteoporosis. A narrow X-ray beam is directed at the area of interest (usually the spine and hip), which enables a measurement to be made of its calcium content (density).
