Voǫlsunga saga

Voǫlsunga saga, a prose version of a lost cycle of heroic songs of which fragments survive in the poetic Edda, dealing with the families of the Volsungs and the Niblungs. For the treatment in it of the story of Sigurd and Brunhild, see Sigurd the Volsung.
