Pericles and Aspasia

Pericles and Aspasia, a prose work by W. S. Landor, published 1836.

The book consists of imaginary letters mainly between Aspasia and Cleone. Others are between Pericles and Aspasia, and some are between Pericles and prominent figures of the time. The letters include discussions of artistic, literary, political, religious, and philosophical subjects, and they end with the death of Pericles.
