Old Moore, Francis Moore

Old Moore, Francis Moore (1657–1714), astrologer and licensed physician. His Vox Stellarum, an Almanac for 1698 with Astrological Observations appeared in 1697. Old Moore's Almanac still thrives thanks to its reputation for sensationalism and prophecy. (See also almanacs.)
