Hamilton, William Gerard

Hamilton, William Gerard (1729–96), known as ‘Single-Speech Hamilton’ from his celebrated 3-hour maiden speech in 1755 as MP for Petersfield. Some of his contemporaries claimed he was ‘Junius’. His works were published after his death by Malone under the title Parliamentary Logick.
