Faithful Shepherdess, The, a pastoral tragicomedy by J. Fletcher, printed not later than 1610.

The action takes place at night in the woods of Thessaly, and revolves around the central figure of the faithful shepherdess herself, Clorin, who has dedicated herself to a life of chastity in memory of her dead love. The play, though without much dramatic interest, ranks as a pastoral with Jonson's The Sad Shepherd, and Milton's Comus.
