Craftsman, a periodical started in Dec. 1726 to which Bolingbroke contributed his ‘Remarks upon the History of England’ (1730–1) and his ‘Dissertation upon Parties’ (1733). Its title was intended to indicate Sir R. Walpole as a ‘man of craft’.
