Kyd from a Senecan play by Robert Garnier, published 1594. It was reissued the following year under the title
Pompey the Great, His Faire Corneliaes Tragedie.
It deals with the story of Cornelia, daughter of Metellus Scipio and wife of Pompey the Great, and her lamentations for her misfortunes.
