Sydney 9

Sydney 9. A group of nine Australian artists founded in Sydney in 1960 with the object of introducing a better understanding of abstract art to the country. The group held only one exhibition (shown in Melbourne as well as Sydney) before disbanding. John Olsen was the best-known member.
