Documents of 20th-Century Art. A series of texts and anthologies of writings by leading 20th-century artists and critics, begun in 1971 with Robert Motherwell as general editor and published in London and New York. Volumes include Picasso on Art: A Selection of Views, edited by D. Ashton (1972), My Life in Sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz (1972), and The Writings of Robert Motherwell, edited by A. A. Cohen (1978).
