Wimbledon

Wimbledon The most prestigious lawn tennis club in the world. Wimbledon is the home of ‘the Lawn Tennis Championships on Grass’, the oldest of all the lawn tennis tournaments. The first championship was held on 9 July 1877 at the club's original ground in Worple Road, Wimbledon, in south‐west London. In 1922 the club moved to its present ground in Church Road.
