Lawson
Lawson ♂ Transferred use of the surname, in origin a patronymic from
Law, a Middle English short form of
Laurence. In Australia it has been fairly regularly used as a given name in honour of the explorer William Lawson (1774–1850) and the writer Henry Lawson (1867–1922).
