chylomicrons

chylomicrons Plasma lipoproteins containing newly absorbed fat, assembled in the small intestinal mucosa and secreted into the lymphatic system, circulating in the lymph and bloodstream as a source of fat for tissues. The remnants are cleared by the liver. See also lipids, plasma.
