COMPARATIVE SENTENCE. A SENTENCE containing two clauses joined by a two-part comparative element: asas (It's as big as a house); not so/asas (It's not so/as good as it used to be); the sameas (It's just the same as it used to be); less/morethan (It's a lot less/more than I wanted to pay); (nicer/faster) … than (The car's faster than we expected).
