Emlyn, Thomas (1663–1743), an English Presbyterian minister who followed Joseph Boyse to Ireland as the countess of Donegall's domestic chaplain and in 1691 joined him as colleague minister of the Wood Street congregation in Dublin. Emlyn's acknowledgement of Arianism in 1702 brought him deposition from the ministry, a £1,000 fine, and two years' imprisonment. On his release he returned to England, where he defended his Arian opinions until his death.
