becue, to, a method of making fast a rope to a boat's anchor for use on rocky ground. Before the anchor is lowered the rope is made fast to the flukes of the anchor and then led to the ring of the anchor at the end of its shank, where it is secured by a light seizing. If the flukes are caught in the rocks, a sharp jerk will break the seizing and the anchor will then come home easily, being hoisted from the flukes.
