Frisian Islands, Denmark‐Germany‐The Netherlands The East Frisian Islands belong to Germany, the West Frisian Islands to the Netherlands. They are named after the Frisians. The North Frisian Islands lie off the west coast of Schleswig‐Holstein and are divided between Germany and Denmark.
