Stieglitz, Alfred
Stieglitz, Alfred (1864–1946) US photographer, editor, and promoter of modern art. In 1902, Stieglitz founded the Photo-Secession Group. His photographs include classic portraits of his wife, Georgia
O'Keeffe, studies of Manhattan, and the cloud images known as ‘equivalents’.
