Comanchean

Comanchean A series in the N. American Lower Cretaceous, underlain by the Upper Jurassic, overlain by the Gulfian, and roughly contemporaneous with the upper Aptian, Albian, and lower Cenomanian. Some authors divide this series into the Coahuilan (lower) and a much reduced Comanchean.
